Parental consent

The Crosswalk panel is built for adults. Where the law allows it, a parent or legal guardian may consent so that Crosswalk can collect digital behavior from a person under 18.

We do not collect personal information from anyone under 18 unless a parent or legal guardian has given consent, and only in jurisdictions and for purposes where that collection is legal.

Under 13 (COPPA)

For children under 13, we collect personal information only after verifiable parental consent, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Details: COPPA.

Ages 13 to 17

For teens 13 to 17, we collect personal information only with parental or guardian consent, and only where state law allows. Some states restrict sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling of teen data. We do not sell a teen's personal information as an individual record. We do not use it to serve ads to that teen as a named person. Client products remain aggregated. They do not contain the teen as a row.

What the parent is consenting to

If you are the parent or legal guardian and you complete this consent, you are authorizing Crosswalk Technologies, Inc. to:

  • Collect digital behavior from the named minor's device (clickstream and related panel signals described in the Privacy Policy)

  • Use that Layer A record to operate the panel, honor rights, and build aggregated audience products

  • License those aggregated products to clients (Layer B). Clients do not receive the minor's name, email, device ID, or URL history

You may review, delete, or withdraw this consent at any time.

How to give or withdraw consent

To withdraw: email privacy@crosswalknyc.com, call +1 (818) 231-2610, or write to Crosswalk Technologies, Inc., Attn: Privacy, 23465 Civic Center Way Bldg 9, Malibu, CA 90265. We will stop new collection and, on request, delete the minor's Layer A record.

If we do not have consent

If we learn we have collected personal information from someone under 18 without the required parental consent, or in a place or for a purpose the law does not allow, we will delete it.
