Use this page to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to limit use of sensitive personal information, to the extent those rights apply to you.

This page is for Layer A: identifiable panel and account records Crosswalk holds. It is not a request to edit a client audience file. Client files are aggregated. They do not contain you as a row. We will not re-identify them. See De-identified data.

What we do with personal information

We do not sell Layer A personal information as individual records to clients. We do not sell raw clickstream. Clients receive de-identified, aggregated dashboard products only.

You still have the right to opt out of any residual sale, share, or targeted advertising of Layer A personal information on Crosswalk consumer properties.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale, share, and targeted advertising on this website and on panel flows. You do not need to fill out the form for that opt-out.

Turn GPC on in a supporting browser or extension, then reload this page. The status line at the top will confirm whether we are receiving the signal from this browser.

A GPC opt-out is per browser. If you use more than one browser or device, enable GPC on each, or submit the form once so we can apply the opt-out to your Layer A record.

Include the email you used to join the panel, if you have one, so we can find the record.

We respond within 45 days. We may take one 45-day extension when the law allows. We will tell you if we do. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Authorized agents

An authorized agent may submit a request. We will need proof of authorization and enough information to verify you. Attach or email that proof to privacy@crosswalknyc.com.

Leave the panel

To stop future Layer A capture, uninstall the Crosswalk extension or app and send a deletion request. Steps are on Opt-Out. Uninstalling stops new capture. It does not by itself delete historical panel records.
